I was recently thinking about buying an iPad, but I decided that it was not useful enough in it’s current state.

However I did spend some time researching iPad cases and apps ( I have a vast database of knowledge about the iPad.).

Along my travels I noticed that there were very few cases that were worth while. That is until I found this one.

It’s called the ClamCase.

It virtually turns your iPad into a laptop (or netbook).

However it is not apparent how you control it other then the keyboard. It has three different layouts.

The only two downsides that I see are:

No portrait mode.
No mouse.

After both those I think it still passes as one of the coolest and most practical cases out there.

If you have an iPad and are searching for a good case. Then this looks like a very good option.

It is coming this fall (just in time for iPhone OS 4).
