Merriam Webster Dictionary goes live for iPad

The Merriam Webster dictionary is most likely the most popular online dictionary in existence, whether this is a direct result of it having “web” included within its title, I don’t know. However, what I do know (which, if I do say so myself, is a lot), is that it is now available for the iPad…. for free. The app is very simple: a search bar, a scroll bar for words, and a main definition area. It’s a fairly small application, which makes me think that it’s all online, which if you’re a frequent airplaner-moder, will be a slight disappointment.
