iOS alarms still malfunctioning

A few months ago there was a report that stated that iOS alarms were malfunctioning. According to Apple this problem was taken care of with the release of iOS 4.2.1… It turns out it’s not. Today was the day that people went back to their regular schedule. With the return of their schedule, comes early awakening. Which for some people (me included) is a very difficult. The iPhone alarm is for a lot of people their only way of waking up in the wee hours. If you set an iPhone or iPod alarm you’ll notice that it doesn’t go off.

Apple is supposed to be working on the problem, but as if this moment there is no solution to the problem. Even setting a one time alarm doesn’t work.

The problem is most likely on Apple time servers, not not in the OS itself. Is means you most likely won’t have to sync you iPhone/iPod to fix the problem.

One other thing that this could fix is the iPad’s time problem. As you may have heard, or seen, a lot of iPad users are having problems with the iPad keeping time. Hopefully this will be included in the update to Apple’s servers.
