(Update) Is the Internet going down?

I’m hearing reports that Google, as well as some other websites may be currently down… more coming soon!

Update: A report done earlier today by TUAW, shows that some websites are experiencing downtime today. These websites include Apple online Store, VoIP carrier Ooma, John Gruber’s Daring Fireball blog, Twitter, and Facebook. Apparently several ISPs having been having issues.

I will update this posit as more information is made available.
