Concise Oxford English Dictionary adds 400 new words

Today, people all over the world are huddling in terror, as the Oxford English Dictionary adds 400 new words to the official dictionary. Among those words included are as follows: retweet, mankini (really?), sexting, cyberbullying, and woot. This addition is just yet another sign that the hipsters are taking over the world, and they just got the dictionary. Just a short time ago, the OED added acronyms such as OMG, and LOL.

OED’s official definitions:

Retweet
verb: (on the social networking service Twitter) repost or forward (a message posted by another user)

Sexting
noun: the sending of sexually explicit photographs or messages via mobile phone

Cyberbullying
noun: the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.
