The robot revolution that will never actually happen (coming soon), is starting… kind of. Vanderbilt University just released the details on a bionic leg project that their researchers have been working on for quite some time. The interesting feature with the leg, is that it provides a mind-reading-ish experience. Using multitudes of micro-processors and sensors the leg can actually predict where and how you will walk. With the new leg, amputees should be able to walk about 25% faster. The leg has a fairly long battery life of around three days; with the amount of data that is being processed, that is quite an amazing feat.
