BestBuy apparently unhappy with HP TouchPad sales

According to a recent report done by AllThingsD, BestBuy is apparently quite unhappy with HP’s TouchPad sales, and might be attempting to return them. Apparently the HP TouchPad is also having a difficult time selling itself at other stores, such as Walmart, Fry’s, and MircoCenter. Truthfully, I don’t think anyone really expected it to do well, especially since there are so many other competing tablets that are being sold at the same stores (ie. iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and other Android tablets).

Apparently BestBuy has sold only 25,000 (number includes returned devices) of the 270,000 devices that they originally purchased. The apparent lack of enthusiasm is because of HP’s decision to lower the TouchPad’s price by $100, which is apparently making some customers nervous about purchasing the device.
