Apple just released upon us, an update to the Macintosh Operating System. This update addresses issues found in the recent weeks by users, one of the fixes is hopefully for the black screen issue that was recently talked about here on GizmoRay.

The official list fixes the following bugs:
1.Address an issue that may cause the system to become unresponsive when playing a video in Safari.

2. Resolve an issue that may cause system audio to stop working when using HDMI or optical audio out.
Improve the reliability of Wi-Fi connections.

3. Resolve an issue that prevents transfer of your data, settings, and compatible applications to a new Mac running OS X Lion.

4. Resolve an issue in which an admin user account could be missing after upgrading to OS X Lion.
Resolve an issue where MacBook Air may boot up when MagSafe Adapter is attached

5. Resolve an issue causing intermittent display flickering on MacBook Air

6. Resolve an issue that causes the SD card slot in Mac mini to run at reduced speed with SD and SDHC media

While none of these issues directly describe the black screen issue, the first option sounds the most similar, just with an Applescription (poorly and incoherently described).
