It’s official, Apple Inc. has now sold over 1 million iPads – Making it more popular then the iPhone.

I guess Steve Jobs’ confidence in the iPad was warranted after all.

In 28 days (at least at the time of this writing) Apple went from 0 iPads sold to 1 million. That in my mind seems amazing.

Another way to look at it is the average cost of an iPad is $600. So if I do the math. Apple has made 600 million dollars give or take a few million.

That’s not bad, especially considering that AT&T makes anywhere from $15 to $30 from a big portion of those iPads.
