Apple has made quite a number of faux pas’ in the last few years, one of those faux pas’ was the so-called location-gate. Several researchers at a security company realized that Apple had hidden files in the iOS’s file system, the routinely stored and synced the users’ location to their computer. This was quickly called to the government’s attention, and was somewhat fixed shortly after. Numerous people were considering filing lawsuits against Apple; however, very few did. Today, over 27,000 South Korean’s are suing Apple Inc. for wrongly storing location and GPS information on consumers’ device’s without their knowledge.
One of these people has apparently made over a million dollars from Apple in his case. So if you strongly feel that you need to fight Apple’s consistent streak of stupidity, then feel free to file a lawsuit… and good luck to you!
